Lando Norris achieved pole position for the Formula 1 Austrian Grand Prix with an outstanding performance during the weekend in Spielberg. Despite missing FP1, Norris dominated every session and took pole comfortably in a challenging Q3 session marked by a late yellow flag. His fastest lap of 1m03.971s set the largest gap of the season so far, with Leclerc following closely behind. Championship leader Oscar Piastri secured third place, while Gasly’s spin affected the final lap of Norris and Verstappen, who will start in seventh despite his previous pole positions in Austria. The starting grid for the 2025 F1 Austrian Grand Prix promises an intense race.
